The Last Month

We haven't been doing a very good job at keeping the blog updated, but now that we are getting (somewhat) settled as parents of two, we will try to do better. I'll sum up the last month since Emmy was born. We had a wonderful week-long Christmas celebration with the family. It was great seeing everyone and we can't wait to see you again soon! Claire got her first "real" haircut and Emmy is now 1 month old and doing great. There are new pics of all of these exciting ;) events at shutterfly (note the new address above).

Emerson Kate is here!

Emerson Kate Moore made her debut into the world on December 14, 2007 - 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 1/2 inches. Lucky for Mom it was a very easy labor! Claire is doing great with her so far, although I'm sure she'll have her moments. :)

Almost Time for Baby!

Well, here we are about a week away from the arrival of Baby Girl Moore and we don't have a name still. Funny thing is, we're not too concerned about it. We have some solid options and hopefully when we see her, she'll look like one of them! For those of you who haven't heard, we are scheduled to induce labor on Tuesday, December 11th; however, I did so with the knowledge that I could change my mind before then if I wanted and right now I'm leaning towards not doing it. Guess we'll see the closer it gets. I go back to the Dr. Friday and guess I should let them know something by then ... wouldn't want to be a no-show to my own labor. If anyone has name suggestions, we'd be glad to entertain them. We'll be posting pics (and the name) as soon as we can on shutterfly.

First day of preschool

Claire has just started her fourth week of preschool. It's been a little rough, but she's starting to get used to it and like it much better. Here are a couple of pics from her first day.

Marathon

Well, Zach finished his first marathon and although he didn't meet his original goal, he was happy with his time of 3 hours and 45 minutes considering the circumstances that I'm sure you are all aware of. It was very hot for me and I was just walking! Here are a few pics from the race. Zach is already looking for his next marathon, so apparently it wasn't too bad.
