Falling Behind!

Hi everyone! We've not been doing a very good job at keeping up with the blog ... too much going on. To summarize, Zach ran his second marathon at the beginning of May -- the Cincinnati Flying Pig. It was fun -- me, the kids, Charlie and Ellen went along for the event. Emmy is growing and doing all sorts of cute stuff for us! She's rolling over, laughing outloud and starting to recognize us, which is great. Claire will be in her first dance recital on June 7th and started swim lessons last night. As for me, I'm trying to plan some activities for the summer.

Emmy's First Shots ... Yuck!

Emmy went to the Dr. yesterday morning for her 2 month check-up. She weighed in at 10 pounds 1 ounce and is 22 1/2 inches long. Dr. Chase said she looks great and she gave him a big smile! Then she stopped smiling after the 2 shots. :( She really did well considering and Mom didn't cry, so that was good.

One more thing, she slept through the night the past 2 nights. I'm sure I've now jinxed us ...

The Last Month

We haven't been doing a very good job at keeping the blog updated, but now that we are getting (somewhat) settled as parents of two, we will try to do better. I'll sum up the last month since Emmy was born. We had a wonderful week-long Christmas celebration with the family. It was great seeing everyone and we can't wait to see you again soon! Claire got her first "real" haircut and Emmy is now 1 month old and doing great. There are new pics of all of these exciting ;) events at shutterfly (note the new address above).

Emerson Kate is here!

Emerson Kate Moore made her debut into the world on December 14, 2007 - 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 1/2 inches. Lucky for Mom it was a very easy labor! Claire is doing great with her so far, although I'm sure she'll have her moments. :)
